Summer Camp
Our program begins with a four-week Summer Camp that is filled to the brim with fun activities. The camp takes place at the Margaret Egan Center in Milford on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and runs from 9:30 to 2:30 between July and August.
At camp, about 20 students from all three middle schools get together and enjoy the following activities:
- Arts & Crafts: painting, bracelet-making, clay sculpting, bead work, stained glass
- Games: kickball, capture the flag, puzzles/riddles, board games and more
- Beach Trips: swimming, sunbathing, playing cards or simply hanging out
- Of course plenty of snacks and drinks will be provided. Sutdents are asked to bring their own bag lunch

Community Services
Once a month, students volunteer their time to give back to the community by performing various types of service activities, such as

Animal Shelter: Playing with the animals housed at the shelter, walking them, bathing them and overall caring for the animals
|
If you enjoy helping others, you and your menor can also visit these places during your mentoring time!

Family Activities
Fun and Free!

The Across Ages program sponsors family activities on a weekend so that mentors, students and their families can come together and enjoy each other's company.
Delicious snacks, beverages and other items are all provided. These events include:

Life Skills
Thoughout the school year, students will be spending one period per week at their schools in a Life Skills class, instructed by Bridges' staff. It is in this class that students will be taught strategies for coping with "life" more effectively. In addition we will cover the following aspects:

Ongoing support in your mentoring relationship
