Bridges provides comprehensive mental health and addiction services for children, adolescents, adults and families in Milford, Orange, West Haven and the surrounding communities. Since its inception, Bridges has developed and expanded its mental health and addiction services to accommodate the growing needs of the community. Today, the legacy of helping people continues. Bridges’ compassionate professional staff selects from the diverse services available to address the needs of each individual client seeking services. Since its inception, Bridges’ quality services have helped families and individuals move toward recovery. Bridges is the designated Local Mental Health Authority offering outpatient mental health and addiction services in Milford, Orange, West Haven and surrounding communities in south central Connecticut. Recovery-focused services including evaluation, counseling, and treatment are available to adults, children, adolescents and families. Founded in 1957 by a group of concerned citizens in Milford, the agency now provides services to approximately 5,000 people annually at sites in Milford, Orange and West Haven. Our skilled and caring professional staff, including psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, nurses, vocational counselors, social rehabilitation specialists, and case managers respect the dignity and worth of each individual regardless of age, race, gender, sexual preference, disability or financial status.
